shortQueue is an on-line photo gallery program created expressly for schools. Through shortQueue, a school's families and alums can view, on-line, all the images taken of school activities and can even order prints of those images, also on-line. We send the prints directly to the family or alum who ordered, and we send the school 25% of the revenue that is generated by the purchases of prints of its images. In short, we do everything other than take the pictures.
At the end of the year, we archive all the images to CD and create a physical notebook of contact sheets with thumbnails that mirrors the CDs. So not only do our schools reap the goodwill that comes with a good service well-provided but also the knowledge that they are making the most out of their photography by putting it where it can be viewed, purchased, archived, and used again.
