The goal of the shortQueue program - to decrease the distance between a school and its current and former students - recognizes that nothing is better at bridging gaps than pictures. The shortQueue program allows schools that are taking digital pictures of activities and events to put those pictures on-line (securely) and offer them for purchase to students and alumni. When prints are purchased, revenue is generated for the school.
An on-line, secure, unique account where the school's digital images and pictures will be uploaded and stored. As images are uploaded, VividPics technology is applied to analyze and make adjustments to the images (if needed) to improve the exposure and colors.
The storing and hosting of an unlimited number (and size) of the school's digital images. Whether the school chooses to make available one event or 100 events, we commit to making the images for any event available for a minimum of 90 days after posting.
Seamless album-by-album slideshow functionality (so the images within the online albums can be viewed at the preferred pace), thumbnail creation for all images used in each album (to decrease the time required to open the albums and pages as well as to make it easier for the viewer to scan through the images quickly in order to locate the ones of most interest), and ordering functionality that is highly intuitive (but is accompanied by step-by-step instructions nonetheless).
Built-in e-commerce technology for the purchasing of images in an album, including secure credit card processing. We use industry standard secure server software (SSL) for all photo ordering and account management transactions. It encrypts all of the purchaser's personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that the information cannot be read as it travels over the Internet.
Complete and guaranteed high-quality image processing and picture printing services using Fujicolor Crystal Archive fade-resistant photographic paper from Fuji.
Order processing and shipment within 24 hours (with exception of weekends and some holidays). Shipment options include: US Postal Service, UPS, and Federal Express to anywhere in the continental U.S. and Canada as well as international destinations.
Value added services (e.g., 35mm film development, archiving albums to CD annually, comprehensive upload services, etc.) throughout the program that minimize the time and resource commitment from the school and maximize the program's simplicity for the consumer.
No solicitation of any kind to those individuals who order prints through the shortQueue program unless explicitly requested by the university. In addition, email and mailing addresses will be used only when necessary to communicate with the consumer regarding the order placed.
